Real estate in the world-famous French Quarter is jumping!
36 sales have taken place in the last 6 months. Sale prices ranged from $83,000 for a 205 square foot studio located half a block from the Mississippi Riverfront to $1,830,000 for a renovated circa 1850’s stately Royal Street single with 5,387 sq. ft. with 7 bedrooms, 6.5 baths, and gated off-street parking. If you’re going to live in New Orleans, what a place to live! Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have a fabulous French Quarter home as does Nicholas Cage. Quarterites run the gamut from full time residents, weekenders, and people with 2nd homes….(photos below show some of the high-end homes)
Properties are currently listed from $110,000 to $7.4 million including condos, singles, multi-family, investment, and commercial real estate. Leases range from $700.00/month to $14,000/month…something for everyone.

Visitors to New Orleans want to know where the great, non-touristy French Quarter restaurants are. My 2 favorites are IRENE’S located on the corner of Chartres and St. Philip Streets where the food is absolutely terrific and the 
service is top notch and friendly! Get there when they open, or be prepared for a wait…but, they do have a piano bar.
MONA LISA is a cozy place tucked away in the 1200 block of Royal Street. if you like pizza and Italian food, you will freak out here…it’s just TOO GOOD with pop art and super service.
